Mooncottage is one of the most well-known St. John Island villas and recommends that when staying at our Carribean Cottage you try a generous sampling of the extensive list here. However, though St. John offers a surprising array of restaurants to fulfill your tropical dining fantasies at any budget level, there are many choices nearbly in Coral Bay that will keep you happy. All of St. John’s restaurants are quirky and wonderful in their own way.

My favorite hands-down. Right around the corner on your way into Coral Bay from Mooncottage--it is one of this Caribbean cottage rentals favorites. The coral colored building doesn’t look like much, as it used to be “Sea Breeze” one of the first bars in Coral Bay. But, it is sublime! Ask for Prince behind the bar. Rose, his absolutely gorgeous wife absolutely ROCKS and cooks great, hip Jamaican cuisine. And, they have a wonderful wine and Rum list! Nice, nice, nice people. Prince was a world-class gymnast and still looks like he could do a flip or two. Ask him for a handstand ladies. Taste the flavors of the Caribbean. Seaside dining, island music, funky atmosphere. Dinner only.

Look for the giant Tamarind tree in the middle of the road and you are almost there or ask someone in Coral Bay if ya' get lost. Great Conch fitters and chicken and stuff. Miss Vi herself is worth the trip!Snacks include conch fritters, garlic chicken, johnny cakes, island style beef pate & home made pineapple & coconut tarts. Sodas, beer & other cold drinks available.
