We spent a week at the Teahouse Treehouse in St. John for our honeymoon, coming straight off the week of our wedding—so needless to say, we had a lot on our plate leading up to the trip. Janet struck the perfect balance from the start—she was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making sure we were prepared without ever feeling overwhelmed.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted, the Treehouse exceeded expectations. The location truly can’t be beat, and the style and comfort were perfect for a couple. Everything we needed was right there, surrounded by beautiful nature—it felt private, peaceful, and special.

We absolutely loved Coral Bay. While we enjoyed exploring Cruz Bay, we would choose Coral Bay again without hesitation—it has a quieter, more authentic feel that made the trip.

Definitely get out on the water if you can—some of the best beaches and snorkeling spots are only accessible by boat. We rented small boats out of both Coral Bay and Cruz Bay and loved both experiences. And don’t miss Lime Out—great tacos and a fun BOGO happy hour that’s well worth it.

St. John, we love you and can’t wait to come back!

This trip will forever be one of our favorites. We can't wait to come back and bring our kids! The views from every window cannot be topped. Getting to wake up and sip coffee while looking out across the ocean framed by all the tropical plants-- We felt like we had the island to ourselves! The cottage had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, plenty of kitchen supplies, beach gear, etc etc We made a point to try and see as many beaches as possible while there and we never found one we didn't love. St John bumped to the top of our list of places we have been, and we travel a lot! You will not regret staying here. 🤍

We had an incredible week-long stay at the Teahouse Treehouse. The property was serene and truly felt like a secluded paradise, nestled high in the trees with breathtaking views. The mornings on the deck watching the sunrise were magical. Having a Jeep is a must to get to the property. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing, and adventurous getaway, this is it! We can’t wait to return!

My wife and I just got home after staying at Mooncottage, and we already miss the view we were greeted with every morning! The property was magical and we had a lovely time. Very private feeling and a calming vibe.

This villa is simply magical. If you love being up in the trees, hearing the frogs, birds, having deer greet you in the driveway every night when you return then this is the perfect fit. We have been visiting this gorgeous island for almost 20 years and have stayed in some spectacular villas. This is by far our favorite couple's villa and we have already booked our return trip here for next year. The property management is excellent, gives you everything you need without being intrusive to your privacy. This side of the island is so special and I'm so glad we discovered the treehouse.

My husband and I stayed at Mooncottage for our honeymoon. The place is amazing on all levels. The views are breathtaking and the set up of the cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. We had the best time ever!

Brian's place was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway for two! We especially loved the view, the secludedness, and how close we were to nature. In the future I would probably book directly through the Mooncottage website (or at least check the price there) since it will be cheaper than through Airbnb.
