You are under no obligation. After you Make an Inquiry booking request, we will personally be back in touch with you ASAP on the phone to discuss all of the details and secure your dates if so desired. We do not share your private information and we reserve the right to refuse any Reservation Request for any reason prior to your booking and/or the signing of our standard Rental & Liability Indemnification Agreement.
Posted Promotional Discounts are generally reserved for stays of 7 nights or more—but occasionally we offer discounts for shorter stays. Our promotional discounts fluctuate seasonally and are sometimes not available. We reserve the right to end the promotional discount at any time. We will honor the discount only if the promotion is visible on our website at the time you are requesting a reservation for a future booking.
Availability is not guaranteed. Our calendar synchronizes every 3 hours for Villas and Getaways so there may a delay in displaying our calendar accurately. For Singles & Couples Getaways in the D.R. please select the dates you desire and we will check availability at our venues. Please DO NOT make airline reservations prior to receiving a Confirmed Booking Notification and making your payment. After payment is made you will be required to sign our standard Rental Agreement & Indemnity Release Agreement via DocuSign. As a Guest you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your vacation for a future date if an “official” COVID 19 lockdown is in effect from either the Guest’s city or the Guest’s arrival city, however, a cash refund is not guaranteed. Although unlikely, unexpected illnesses in your family, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fires, strikes, riots, war, terrorism or other similar Force Majeure events beyond our control are always a remote possibility. In any case, Lessors will work closely with Guest to find a potential solution. However, this will not guarantee Guest a refund. For peace of mind, Lessors highly recommend travel cancellation insurance.
Our Rates and Packages posted on our sites should be considered our published rates. We cannot be held responsible for the exact accuracy of an automated quotation as it is sometimes slightly off during the cross over from Summer Rates to Winter Rates and during Christmas/New Year. We will always confirm your rates verbally on the phone and in writing in our standard rental agreement if you choose to move forward with your villa booking.
OUR PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES: Half of Guest’s villa rental deposit, must be received electronically within 5 days following a booking to confirm the reservation. Failure to make this payment subjects your reservation to automatic cancellation without notice to you. The balance due of your Guest rental, must be paid in full electronically at least 45 days prior to your arrival. All cancellations and any request for changes to Guest’s reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of persons) must be made and approved IN WRITING. If Guest cancels prior to or within 45 days of arrival date, Lessors will retain 100 per cent of the rental deposit and/or final payment as full liquidated damages. However, if cancelled dates are rebooked, 80 per cent of the rental monies will be credited to Guest for another vacation at MOONCOTTAGE within 1 calendar year from the date of cancelled booking and 20 per cent of the rental monies will be retained by Lessors as a rebooking fee. If Guest elects not to reschedule, Lessors will retain 100 per cent of the rental deposit and final payment as full liquidated damages. No-shows, late arrivals, a reduction in number of persons in your group within 45 days of or after your arrival, and early departures from your villa are non-refundable. No refunds will be granted unless there is a serious problem which cannot be remedied within 24 hours, and/or which causes the Guest extreme, undue discomfort or serious inconvenience (see also Complaints and Maintenance). It is the Guest’s responsibility to notify Lessor of a serious problem. Guest’s will be given the opportunity to reschedule their vacation for a future date at MOONCOTTAGE if an “official” COVID 19 lockdown is in effect from either the Guest’s city or the Guest’s arrival city, however, a cash refund is not guaranteed. In the rare case that a serious storm interrupts Guest’s visit, Lessor will reschedule Guest’s villa rental at MOONCOTTAGE for the entire length of agreed stay within 1 calendar year from the date of interrupted booking within the same seasonal rates period if the incident is pre-arrival, or for remaining nights unused if Guest’s stay is interrupted. In either case, a cash refund is not guaranteed. By signing this document, Guest waives their right to file a credit card chargeback to Lessor unless MOONCOTTAGE becomes uninhabitable for an unexpected maintenance reason. Guests who abandon their villa without permission from Lessors agree they have no rights to compensation. The terms and conditions of your vacation villa Agreement become a binding contract when Guest sends us the rental deposit.
